Math BINGO! has established itself as a prominent educational application with a notable user base, exceeding one million players. Its recognition includes features in The New York Times and Disney's FamilyFun Magazine, and it maintained the top position as an educational app for three consecutive weeks. Additionally, it has been acknowledged in Peter Meyers' "Best iPad Apps" published by O'Reilly and has sustained a ranking within the top 50 educational apps for over three years.

The core objective of Math BINGO! involves completing a pattern of five BINGO Bugs in a row through correct responses to math problems. The game offers five distinct modes—Addition, Subtraction, Multiplication, Division, and a Mixed category—with three difficulty levels: Easy, Medium, and Hard. Recent updates include three engaging bonus games, the ability to create up to 30 player profiles, and customization options through 12 cartoon avatars. A new report card feature has been incorporated to monitor progress, complemented by a scoreboard tracking scores across different levels and categories. Players can earn Bingo Bugs by achieving high scores, adding an element of collectability.

Gameplay involves displaying math questions at the top of the screen while providing immediate feedback at the bottom. The scoring system accounts for the time taken to complete a game plus penalties for incorrect answers—that is, a two-second penalty per mistake. For example, a game completed in 45 seconds with three errors would yield a score of 51 (45 + 6). Player profiles store personalized data such as name (up to 20 characters), avatar selection, total games played, high scores achieved, and Bingo Bugs collected. The guest profile allows play without recording data or earning high scores, facilitating use by adults or for casual gameplay.

Before gameplay begins, players select their desired game type and difficulty level from available options—Addition, Subtraction, Multiplication, Division, or Mixed—and choose among easy, medium, or hard settings. High scores are displayed in dedicated scoreboards for each operation and difficulty level, showcasing the top three performances.

Bingo Bugs serve as rewards for high achievement; players can collect various Bugs and interact with them via on-screen buttons or by tilting the device to animate them. Interaction includes tapping to make Bugs giggle or spring around the screen.

The settings menu, accessible via an information icon on the introduction screen’s lower right corner, allows users to reset all high scores and delete player profiles as needed.

Regarding privacy considerations, Math BINGO! does not contain third-party advertisements or in-app purchases. It does not integrate with social networks nor employ analytics or data collection tools. The app includes links to other ABCya.com applications available on the iTunes App Store.
